MCG Stadium

The Melbourne Cricket Ground (MGC) is a massive sports arena in Melbourne's Yarra Park.  It is one the most recognizable landmarks in the city.

The cricket ground was first established on this site in 1853.

In addition to hosting cricket matches, the massive facility also hosts soccer and rugby games as well as various gatherings and events.

Visitors to Australia's biggest sporting stadium can enjoy a guided tour of the facility.  Make sure to visit the National Sports Museum while on site.

MCG is located in the Sports Precinct of Melbourne.  It is a ten minute walk from the city centre.
