St. Patrick's Cathedral is a Roman Catholic Cathedral located in Melbourne.  Consecrated in 1897, it is the largest church building in Australia.

This Gothic-style building is officially called the Cathedral Church and Minor Basilica of Saint Patrick.  It was designated a "minor basilica" by Pope John Paul II in 1986.

St. Patrick's Cathedral is located in the Fitzroy District of Melbourne, not far from Parliament House.
